This may include organisational setting, referral conditions, assessment procedures and contract. The client Ms Mandy is a 35 years old married asian lady, have 2 kids aged 12 and 16. She was adopted since baby to a family. Adopted daddy was a kind and understanding father, Adopted mother was very selfish and demanding. She was often blamed and punished by her adopted mother. The adopted parents has their own kids, a son and a daughter. Although Ms Mandy was the eldest, the adopted mother favour and love her own kids and demand lots of returns from Mandy. Since young, Ms Mandy was alway blamed and punished due to her poor school results. Her career was not too successful as she did not have a degree. Her salary was about $2500. Adopted family demand financial support. her income was too little to help. Mandy’s hubby, Joseph dont have a high salary, he is also earning around $2800. Their 2 kids are both studying and need lots of cash. Mandy was torn in between, she was depressed when her adopted mother asked her for money every month. Recently she discovered her hubby Joseph was seeing a young lady in his company. Mandy dont dare to check with him as she was afraid to lose him, as Joseph used to beat her up when they have quarrel.
