WRITING ASSIGNMENT – RETENTION PROPOSAL PLAN

You are the Human Resources Manager at your organization and recently there has been a high amount of turnover in multiple departments.  The director of Human Resources at your nonprofit has tasked you with a complete proposal to get to the root of the problem(s) and make recommendations to overhaul the way the organization recruits, trains, develops, retains, and compensates its employees.

Write a proposal of approximately 900 words in which you do the following:

• Describe the relationship of motivation, ability, and competencies to organizational performance.
