 Was the theory/framework/model introduced with an adequate description?
 Did the author address how the theory/framework/model applied to the project?
 Has the theory/framework/model been used in similar studies? If so, were results of these studies presented and discussed?
 How is the theory/framework/model operationalized in the current project?
 Do the methods (data collection, data analysis, etc.) reflect the principles and concepts of the theory/framework/model?
 Is the theory/framework/model an appropriate fit with the plan?
Are finding consistent/inconsistent with the theory/framework/model and how do they relate to other studies using the same theory/framework/model?
 Are there suggestions for future work using the theory/framework/model?
Construct a critique of the theory/framework/model utilized in the manuscript. Your answers to the questions above should be used to construct the critique. The critique will be a formal paper following APA formatting. Remember to use citations from the manuscript to emphasis your point. Also, address any missing information that you feel should be included in the manuscript.
Each paper should have a short introduction of the manuscript’s purpose and of the theoretical framework/model utilized in the manuscript. Your critique will follow this introduction. At the end you will provide a brief conclusion addressing how the theory/framework/model fit with the project, any ways the project failed to utilize the theory/framework, and any suggestions on ways to improve the utilization of the theory/framework/model.
