Choose ONE of the following topics and answer as completely as possible. Responses should be 700-900 words. Be sure to use specific examples and to Answer EACH PART OF THE QUESTION.

1) In the past few weeks, we have looked at various political works that have dealt with both espionage, but also sacrifice due to political beliefs. Discuss at least three author?s approaches to
the themes of sacrifice and what is lost. How do they represent this loss? Are the political sacrifices worth what is lost in the end? What is it that these characters learn about what is important
