Make sure to cite your sources using MLA! You must have a Works Cited page.

Please write a character analysis on any character in the story. Most of you will write about Emily, as there is a lot of information pertaining to her character in the story. You may also write about the townspeople. The townspeople serve as the narrator(s) to the story, and they have an interesting perspective on what is going on in the town. You could also write about Homer, Tobe, or Emily’s father.

When writing an analysis, you will be using evidence from the story. Just make sure to analyze, and not summarize. Here is a great link to help you better understand the process of analyzing:
