Please focus on the impact of grouping in English lessons. The English plan is attached, please ignore experience days. Days 3,4,5 and 6 should be in one grouping arrangement, days 8, 9 and 10 should be in another.
My class is a Year 4 (ages 8-9) class in a deprived coastal town in the East of England. My school has no policies on grouping, seating or classroom arrangement beyond displays. The class has 29 pupils.
In the literature review, please ensure focus is on primary schools, and include some literature on leadership.
Please make innovations to the reflective model chosen, for example, by combining two different models.
To add quantitative data, come up with some numbers on how many ideas pupils came up with in the 'initiate' stage of the plan. Higher ability should be 8-10 ideas, middle ability 5-7, lower ability 2-4, in general.
Focus should also be put on the pupils written sentence in the 'enable' stage of the plan. How closely did they stick to the model? Higher ability should leave the model appropriately and successfully, lower ability should aim to stick to the model, changing only words they came up with in the 'initiate' stage.
Make sure 'anonymity' is kept – use e.g. 'Higher Ability pupil' rather than using a name.
Please just invent results, I'll read over everything to check it's realistic!
