Assignment three (chapter 4, the visual elements)

These questions they’re meant to NOT be answered from your reading.
They’re meant to get you to realize that you guys know a lot more about art than you think you do.
Think of them as brief opinion pieces, not research papers. I just want your thoughts on these various topics.
Question of the Day #1: “What’s the difference between looking at the same work of art in a museum, in a church, and in someone’s house? (This will help you analyze a work of art in terms of its visual elements as well as its context).
Question of the Day #2: “How does color affect us psychologically? Are these effects personal or universal?” (This will isolate one of the visual elements so you can examine it in depth.)
