Discuss how economics is going to help me grow as an entrepreneur and discuss specifically how economics applies to business. I also plan to be a senator and political science will help with this. A combination of both these things will help me in my political career cause I will be able to make effective economic policies. In addition, I have a charity I would like to expand, and economics will help me operate this charity effectively and eventually make it grow. Some background on my charitable endeavors: I built a gurdwara in Kotli Arayan, India that serves food to impoverished people in the India, and anyone can come regardless of religion. I also fund two gurudwaras to serve food to impoverished people. Also, I fund these endeavors because I inherited land from my grandfather and I use the rent from the land to support these endeavors. I also recently acquired more land to help raise money for more endeavors. Since India is going through a real estate crisis, land is cheap, and I made a strategic investment to grow my charity. So far, the investment looks good. Please talk about how I would like to expand my endeavors with my knowledge from UVA and how I would make this organization available for others to donate with the help from UVA.
