The paper does do a good job on Mill, but I regret to say that there are three serious problems with this draft:

    – Part of the assignment was to write on the political ideas of John Rawls.
    – The treatment of Marx and Engels is disorganized and unfocused. The document in Pojman was written by both Marx and Engels, yet the paper seems to treat Engels separately: “Friedrich was born in German but moved to Manchester, England. His experience in the dealings of the British industry throughout the Industrial Revolution equipped him with facts to work with Marx. He is the co-founder of the Marxist Movement. According to his thoughts, society is more and more dividing into two distinct and hostile sides: Proletariat and Bourgeoisie” (p. 4). This is immediately followed by a reference to serfs in the Middle Ages. In addition, the revolutionary role of the proletariat is a central Marxist idea, but the paper refers to it in only two sentences (one on p. 4, one in the personal evaluation of p. 7). How would explain the importance of the proletariat for Marx and Engels?
