Read the Closing Case Study Two (Smartphones and the Great Digital Divide) on page 190-191 – Chapter 9 in your text book and answer the following questions:
1. When accessing the Internet, what can you do on your desktop or laptop that you cannot do on a smartphone?
2. If smartphones have fewer internet capabilities (than desktop and laptop computers), can you necessarily link an increase in smartphone ownership within a US-based economically disadvantaged group of people to closing the great digital divide? Why or Why not?
