Background:
In the past two decades there has been the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meetings – Conference of Parties (CoP) held at different cities in the world, the last held in December 2015 in Paris. The main aim of this Conference of Parties is to find lasting solutions to the impacts or consequences of global warming oftentimes referred to as Climate Change through different policy measures. Since the major cause of global warming is believed to result from the use of hydrocarbons (Coal, Oil and Gas) in anthropogenic (human influenced) activities, such as generation of secondary energy (Electricity) and transportation, answer the question below premised on this preamble.
Assignment Task:
Critically evaluate the impact of decisions from any one of the UNFCCC Meetings – Conference of Parties on the energy policy of any oil producing country.
