exam board is AQA English Literature B. Please don’t forget point, evidence, effect, analysis, link. This exam board includes the gothic genre, so please use the gothic motifs, for example, the supernatural, the abhuman, the other, uncanny, eerie etc.
Below are my assessment objectives, so please meet the requirements of these.

When it comes to using resources please use the York notes advanced for the picture of dorian gray, and jekyll and hyde notes online, but please do not use complicated sources, just simple sources easily accessible for a student of my age. Also i have to include different interpretations, so when including a different interpretation, please do not make it complicated, merely write, i.e. a freudian analysis may be…or would lend itself to say that…. . Different interpretations also include my interpretation and my reading of the text, but i would suggest a psychoanalytic reading, freudian analysis, darwinian theory also. If it possible to drop in a marxist or feminist subtly please do. But do not overboard it with information. Please use critics from York Notes Advanced for Dorian Gray. A very well structured essay please, which i know you do well anyway!

When it comes to research, please research as much as you can on the novels. However I wouldn’t like too many references at all. Very little references, but sources for research yes! Please if you choose a reference do it to a year 13 standard reference, no references of university level please!

Also i write in a certain way, so i will send you the way i write so you can do it as similar to me as possible. Please, i repeat please do not use overly complicated terms, just simple, clear and precise sophisticated language which is straight to the point. I would like a clear point at the beginning of every paragraph please. Furthermore i have started the essay already, so i will send you the parts that i have started, as i have a bit of a plan for what i would like to do.

When there is a literary technique, please identify this, for example if there is i.e. a metaphor, simile, pathetic fallacy, juxtaposition, synesthesia, etc.

I kind of have a bit of an essay plan which i will send through also. Also please do not worry if it exceeds 3 pages, as the max would be 2000 words.
