For this paper you will research and reflect on the six topics listed below based on only the following three theological texts: Grenz, Stanley. Theology for the Community of God [Post-Modern Baptist]; Williams, J. Rodman. Renewal Theology [Charismatic]; De La Torre, Miguel A. Handbook of U.S. Theologies of Liberation [Liberation Theology]. You will give a brief description of the three theologians (Grenz, Williams, & De La Torre) followed by 6 synopses of what each of the three texts say about:
a. God – The Trinity
b.Creation – Human Beings (image of God)
c. God and Creation in Relationship – Immanence
d. Revelation of God – Particular or General Revelation
e. Scripture – Authority
f. Broken Relationship – Nature of sin or the Results of Sin

In each synopsis, synthesize, systematize and summarize the findings of your research on the above topics. Each synopsis should include the following:
(1) Identification of and brief comment on selected scripture verses/passages (1 paragraph);
(2) Description of the three theologians’ views (3 paragraphs);
(3) Summary statement of your view, compare and contrast (1 paragraph);
(4) Engagement: Implications of this doctrine for either (a) what we need to communicate to the world beyond the Church or (b) how we need to go about communicating to or acting in the world beyond the Church (1 paragraph).
