Topic: the use of linear regression in financial-economic presentations

Before you begin writing, you must consider some pertinent questions:

• What message do you want to communicate?
• What is your purpose?
• Who is the audience?
• If there are multiple audiences, who is your primary audience? You secondary audience?
• What does your audience know?
• What does your audience need to know?
• Are there cultural differences you need to consider?
• What biases or preconceived notions of the audience might serve as barriers to you message?
• What strategies can you employ to overcome these negatives?
• Do demographic and lifestyle variables of your audience affect their perspective of your research?
• What are your audience’s interests, values, and concerns?

Your paper should be between 2 to 5 pages.

Your paper should include: introduction, explanation of methodology, discussion of results, statement of limitations, and a list of recommendations and conclusions.

-Introduction: an orientation to the contents of the report and research objectives

-Methodology: describes in detail how the research was conducted, who (or what) the subjects were, and what methods were used to achieve the objective

-Results: presents the findings of the research

You may use Figures: graphs, charts, maps, pictures or

Table: words or numbers arranges in rows and columns

-Limitations: may focus on, but not limited to, time, money, personnel, and size of population

-Conclusions and recommendations:

-Conclusions: outcomes or decisions you have reached based on research results

-Recommendations: suggestions for how to proceed based on conclusions
