THE PROCESS OF INTERACTION DESIGN
Nowadays, timepieces (such as clocks, wristwatches, etc.) have a variety of functions. They not
only tell the time and date but they can speak to you, remind you when it’s time to do something,
and provide a light in the dark, among other things. Mostly, the interface for these devices,
however, shows the time in one of two basic ways: as a digital number such as 23:40 as through
an analog display with two or three hands – one to represent the hour, one for the minutes, and
one for the seconds.
In this assignment, we want you to analyze your selected project, which is designing online shopping website, from interaction point of view. Your goal is to be inventive and exploratory. We have broken this assignment down into the following steps to make it clearer:
1. Think about the interactive product/website you are designing:
what do you want it to do for you?
Make a list of interactive options;
you can incorporate in it to make it intractable.
2. Select a similar product/website and compare your options with the options available in this product or website.
3. How your options will help to engage the users in a better way?
Your focus should be to bring users to your product/website again.
Think Amazon/ebay/ESPN/Youtube/Instagram etc.
