    This essay shoud focus on weaknesses of law of murder and examine flaws in defining:
    1. four elements of Actus Reus such as unlawful death, reasonable human being, the King’s peace and within any county of the realm;
    2. two types of Mens Rea such as intention to kill and intention to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH);
    3. mandatory life sentence;
    4. year and a day rule;
    5. age of conviction.
    All these points should be analysed by using cases and academic sources. Moreover, the proposals from Law Commission Reports, such as classification of murder, should be used, because they are already trying to reform Law of Murder.
    Basically, all the disadvantages of law of murder should be discussed and shown why they are important. – and use as the solution Proposals by Law commission.
