    sudanA Case Study is an analysis of a defined unit, such as a person, an ethnic group, an event, or as in this case, an intensive study of one country. As an instructional tool for Political Science courses the case study assignment supports three primary educational objectives:

    1) Develop writing ability, critical thought, and research skills essential to future employment;

    2) To development of a level of knowledge and expertise `beyond the depth of the course.

    3) To introduce students to basic research procedures common in the Social Sciences.
