Directions:

Review your life and the challenges and transitions discussed in the assigned readings; think of the most challenging transition listed in the readings that you faced as you moved into adulthood.
After recalling this challenge please respond to the following prompts.

In your post, DO NOT discuss your own family in either your initial post or your reply.
Rather use the material in the readings to discuss the information.
You are supporting all your informaton with evidence
The total post is a minimum of 3 complete paragraphs with citations from the textbook, community/internet resources and references at the bottom of your post. Roughly 250-300 words total
Remember, you cannot use Blogs, personal counselor websites etc as your community internet sources
Look for websites for community resources, or websites based on well-known entities. Hospice might be a formal community resource, a local support group could be an informal resource.
Part one: In one complete paragraph of at least 7 sentences, minimum, describe the challenge you have chosen, using information directly from the text. Remember you must cite the material in your post.

Discuss how the readings informed you more fully about the transition you chose and the challenges that families have as they navigate that challenge.
You must use information directly from the textbook and provide page numbers, chapters, and passage.
Include why a person’s relationship with parents/caregivers is an integral component of this transition.
Part two: In one complete paragraph of at least 7 sentences, minimum, discuss any family dynamics that might contribute additional stress to the challenge you chose, including parental/family challenges such as a divorce, unemployment, illness, incarceration, death, expectations related to race, ethnicity, gender, social class.

Provide and discuss information from the readings that identifies one specific family dynamic you would address with families who are facing this transition.
Be sure to provide page numbers, passages, chapters, quotation marks.
Remember, you are not talking about personal experiences. You are using your thinking to discuss families at large, and families you might see in your HUS practice.
Part three: In one complete paragraph of at least 7 sentences, minimum and after conducting Internet research, provide two total community resources, one formal and one informal, that you would recommend families access during a similar life cycle transition.

Describe the two community resources and links you have offered.
Clearly describe the services they offer.
Explain why you have chosen these resources, what makes them beneficial?
Include the internet links to these community resources.
Include your references at the bottom of your post
