Self reflection paper

Please download the attached pdf document and rate yourself using the scale provided. After rating yourself reverse the rating for the bold items. Now add up your total. Now answer the following questions in your reflection (indicate what your total score was in your written reflection paper):

    1. Does your score make sense to you based on what you generally believed about yourself before you took the quiz?

(If your scores add up to 21 or above, you tend to be trusting of other people, which means you’re often willing to accept some vulnerability to others under conditions of risk. If your scores add up to 20 or below, you tend to be suspicious of other people which means you’re rarely willing to accept such vulnerabilities.)
    2. The textbook suggests that our propensity to trust develops from 1. genetics (in our genes from our parents), 2. early childhood experiences, 3. more recent adult experiences, and 4. the broader culture we live in. Pick ONE of these four infuences and describe how you think your tendency to trust has developed from it.

    Details on grading

Throughout the semester you will use the materials in the slides/textbook to take 5 self-assessments and write a reflection paper that is 300-500 words long. Your paper will be graded based on the quality of your comments on the test/assessment, your reflection of the results, and relating the results to your work situation or another “real-life” experience. Papers with excessive grammatical errors will be severely penalized. Each reflection paper is worth a maximum of 50 points.
