Money Financial Group has expanded its business with 15 offices across Australia in the last decade. Integration of its business processes with IT has been one of the critical success factors for Money Financial Group. Past business performance of the company has been stored in a structured manner since the introduction of new Enterprise Systems four years ago. However senior managers are concerned that the records of past business performance has not been used to gain insights to drive business planning forward in the company.
The CIO of the company Sandra Watts wants to look at using the existing data of past business performance particularly in regards to customer service expectations to support decision making and developing new insights for management in order to gain competitive advantage.
As a senior project manager at Money Financial Group you are asked to provide a brief review of the concept of business analytics and present recommendations about how the company can gain a competitive advantage by unlocking the hidden insights in their data using business analytics.
Write a memorandum to Sandra Watts (CIO) and present your research findings and an action plan for turning masses of information about business performance into a key business asset. Your memorandum should be no longer than 500 words.
