Review of AWork of Art
Go to anart museumorgallery a place where art has been very deliberately selected and considerable attention has been given to exhibition choices. The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture isSpokanes art museum andcosts $5 with student ID. TheJundtArtMueumat Gonzaga is always free. There are suitable galleries in downtown Spokane and Coeur dAlene as well. See me if youre confused about where to go.

Respond to the work by answeringsome or allof the following questions inone cohesive paragraph.I am not interested in merely hearing whether or not youlikethe piecebutalso want you to meaningfullyconsider your relationship tothe work. If you do not like the work ask yourselfIf I were someone who did like this piece why would I like it? Who is its intended audienceand are you among that audience? Why did you choose this particular piece? What does it make you think about? Why do you think that the artist made the choices that she or he did? Do you agree with all of those choices? Is the artists intention clear/well-executed? How do you feel about the way in which the work is being displayed? Would it be more suitably exhibited somewhere else or alongside different work? This part of the paper may contain judgments but at this point they will bewell founded. Never make a proclamation without continuingthe sentencewithbecause
