Research Paper (40%) involves in depth critical analysis of the approved paper proposal

    . Students are to demonstrate an understanding the issue or problem examined in their paper. Make an argument do not summarize, using exiting literature. Thesis statement is to be clearly defined. The paper should be between 8 to 10 pages (double-spaced and typed), and submitted on or before the due date-April 18, 2013. It is recommended that ideas and discussions presented in class and other readings/data from secondary sources be used in presenting a critical analysis of the issue/subject-matter of the paper. This paper does not require the students to undertake a research project involving collection of primary data. Students must make use of library sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles and books. A minimum of eight references, 6 peer-reviewed journal articles and two books are required.     Citations and References
    Students are to adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style guidelines. This requires the student to put the surname of the author only and the date of publication in parentheses after every idea, concept, quote, summary of discussions that is not your own or a direct quote. Direct quotes must include the specific page(s) in addition to the surname and year of publication. Failure to do these is tantamount to plagiarism (see next page on University of Windsor Policy on Plagiarism). In addition, students are to attach a reference page containing all cited works in the paper.
