Research Paper: Select a topic dealing with any social concept or issue covered in class or in the textbook. Utilizing at least 5 outside sources (journals, academic books, not your textbook or Wikipedia) summarize the main points of your topic in a classic research paper fashion. The goal of this paper is to identify the sociological concepts that are involved in the topic that you have selected and discuss the current state of research revolving around this area. This paper should be no less than 3 content-based pages (no more than 5 pages long total) and must include a title page and a reference page that are not counted on the 3 content pages. All research papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word format to the Moodle assignment page, be in 10 to 12 New Times Roman font, double-spaced, and with 1 inch margins. Additionally, they are expected to be free of major grammatical errors as well as spelling errors. I grade this paper based on content, organization, logic, and if it is a correct sociological topic. Reference style is to be the APA social science format.
