    Information about the patient-
    Client P is a 42 year old woman who has been suffering from anxiety and depression for many years. Patient P’s husband currently looks after their two children. She express concern because she feels that she often shouts at her children for no reason, Other than she can’t stand the noise. She states that she feels unable to manage normal daily activities particularly around the home and looking after her youngest children.
    Patient P feels unable to cope outside of the home unless her husband is present. P does not go shopping with him which she enjoys as she sees this as a distraction from her thoughts. She does not like talking about her symptoms. As she states that causes her further distress, and often Leeds to pain in her chest. P also finds it difficult to discuss her problems with other Asian women as mental health problems are not seen in a positive way with the muslim culture. However sufferers from mental health illness family are frequently ignored by the Muslim society.
