    Your Management Practices project is a written report on the management practices of an organization with the main emphasis on highlighting exceptional or excellent management practices and techniques.

    Your organization does not have to be a health sciences organization, but that is preferred. The organization selected should be one that is unique and has achieved distinction in some way or has been recognized for their managerial practices. The organization may be large or small; for profit, not-for-profit, or public. It could be a fairly new startup or a long-established company, but there must be enough information available about the organization to provide data for a thorough report.

    The project should be thought of as a case study of the organization’s management plans, strategies, accomplishments, etc., and how and why they have succeeded as a result of management. This is not a comprehensive report about the entire workings of the organization (e.g., marketing, finance, production), nor a report on its products. The emphasis is to be on the organization’s management. Be sure to tie your paper to management theory through the use of scholarly resources.

    The body of the report must be a minimum of six to eight pages (double-spaced). Please use at least two scholarly (peer-reviewed) articles, dated 2005 or newer, to support your paper. Your paper should be a Word document in full APA format.

    The report must include these elements:

    1.A short introduction and background information on the organization and its management. (b.) A description of the management practices and attributes that make the company unique or excellent (this should be the bulk of the report). (c.) Concise Summary of Findings and Conclusions reached based on your research.
    2.A discussion of how the information for the project was gathered, organized, and analyzed to come to the conclusions (i.e., research methods).
    3.A list of the sources used to gather the data to write the report in APA form (i.e., reference list). Be sure to also include in-text parenthetical citation for your sources in the body of the paper.
    4.Attach materials you find particularly helpful in explaining the company’s management practices and outcomes as appendices, but do not attach materials merely to pad the report.
