Using the office move project create a Requirements Breakdown Structure (RBS) – high level do not include functions.

Assignment 2
RBS and WBS
Using the RBS and the office move project, expound on it to create your WBS. Create your WBS using MS Project which will be the “Outline Format”.
You will need:
1. To address each task associated with the requirement…. For example: before you install LAN Cabling and furniture you will need an office layout plan. (see page 180 – 181 for an example) DO NOT Use the numbering feature associated with the outline – just use the row numbers in MS Project – to create a SUB TASK, click on the task and use the BIG GREEN arrows on the menu bar to right indent
2. Assign duration (in days)
3. Assign a start and finish date
4. Assign predecessor
5. (you will be adding resources to this file in the next module.)

Submit the .MPP file

Assignment 3
1. Using the WBS you created in week 3 add your resources. This should be in the resource column of MS Project.
2. List and define the 5 PMLCs.
3. What are the benefits of creating a RBS before creating a WBS?
4. What are the differences between a project, a program, and a portfolio?

Assignment 4
Current Period Report
Use the WBS you created and assume the office move is 2 weeks into the project.
Prepare a Current Period Report. Include any variances that the project encountered. This is also a good place to mention any change requests that have been submitted. Paragraph form with bullets to update your tasks/activities.
