The Academic portfolio is designed to demonstrate and evaluate the academic and professional skills you have developed in Semester 1. You should reflect on the quality of the work you have submitted so far as part of the course and you must evidence your progress and improvement in your academic skills. From your learning styles that you did; you need to discuss how this have enhanced your study skills and how this has helped you in your transition from dependent learners to independent learners. You must provide evidence that you have acquired knowledge and academic skills in the following things: Research Referencing Academic writing styles Presentation IT skills Bibliographies Identify your own strengths and weaknesses using the feedback from teachers, this could be formative and summative feedback. This could be feedback given in a range of different situations: Tutorials Seminars Lectures Discussions Independent study You must submit a detailed development plan for the remainder of the course outlining the things you would like to develop on the study programme. This must also have an action plan to show how you intend to develop the actions you have identified to improve one own learning on the Degree Programme. "I have my own CV, add any timeline dates and I'll add the relevant dates later myself".
