The cost of health care in California and why it is extremely high for middle class and low income individuals. I would provide some information and suggestions regarding why it is important to reduce the cost for the people of California. I will also examine Governor Brown’s revisions of the health care cost.

The essay would be interesting for individuals, employees, and staff members who work for government of the state of California. The topic also will be of importance to the general public of California who work for minimum wages in private sectors, and small businesses. Educators, researchers, and health care providers may also find this essay very beneficial. This is so because it will provide them with a new outlook about health care cost in California and how reducing the cost will help many unhealthy people seek better treatments. It will also provide them with ideas of how to provide individuals with opportunities to pay for health cost without being financially challenged and find alternative ways to assist more individuals in desperate needs of health care.

Thesis: Health care cost is extremely high for people of California and needs to be reduced. The reasons behind this high cost will be examined and discussed through the paper. I will specifically focus on low income families and middle class employees.

An estimated 2.5 gained insurance since health care reform was signed into law in 2010, but in the six years since, a significant group of people in California remain uninsured.
Estimates vary, but as many as 1.3 million in California about one in 10 lack of coverage in California.
One of the biggest factors is cost, which still hinders many California from purchasing insurance. It may seem obvious, but the data shows many of the people can’t afford coverage, even after reforms were passed. The Governourn of California vision of affordable health care insurance for all California continues to be far from reality.
Employer sponsored coverage is the most popular way people get insurance. Next are those covered bymedicare, the federal insurance program that primarily serves California over 65 years of age old.
Health care works nothing like other market transactions. As a consumer, you are a bystander to the real action, which takes place between providers hospitals, doctors, labs, drug companies, and device manufacturers and the private and governmental entities that pay them. Those same providers are also pushing California into newer and more expensive treatments, even when there is no evidence they’re any better.
