Task 2 – Prepare a Project Plan
Select an organisation and identify a project where you need to prepare a detailed project plan covering the life cycle of the project. The project plan must have objectives, milestones and individual contributions as well as research evidence, appropriate charts, records of methodology used for implementation and monitoring, a project diary or evaluation on project outcomes.
You will need to:-
· explain the needs of all the stakeholders involved
· justify the methods used to implement a selected project and make recommendations for improvement
· prepare two different methods of monitoring project progress. Evaluate whether a project methodology is suitable for this particular project.
· explain how to deal with two problems which might impact on the progress of the project
· state the importance of achieving project outcomes within agreed timescales, resources and budgets
· design a method for reporting and reviewing outcomes for projects. Design quality management processes AND project reporting processes to be used for reviewing the outcomes.
