Plutarch’s biography of Alexander is just one of many that existed in ancient times (most are now lost). For this assignment, spend 1 to 1 1/2 pages examining one of the following issues: Alexander’s relationship to foreigners vs. Macedonians 1 page

Letter of Antigonus to Scepsis in the Troad. In one page, discuss what you think are pertinent aspects of Antigonus’s letter to Scepsis and the resultant honors that the city bestowed upon him.

This is the only one of Plutarch’s biographies that is on what was considered to be a “barbarian.” In 1 to 1 1/2 pages, discuss how Plutarch portrays Artaxerxes – does he treat him favorably or not (and support this)? Why do you think he might have chosen Artaxerxes while other even more important Persian figures existed? I want the paper to say he respects him, because he is a good leader and tries to do well, but he gives in to he “barbarian true nature” because he is Persian and can’t help it. At least that is hoe the greeks see it.
