Im doing a placement at one of the sites at GlaxoSmithKline in QA (Chemical and Inspection) department. I need to prepare a 5 minute presentation on the subject: –

“Please describe how you can personally improve the compliance of the laboratory operations (Safety and Quality)”.

In a nutshell what I am doing here:

The site Im working at produces antibiotics (containing peniciline). I work in a QA Lab which involves routine testing. Finished products are brought up to the lab, then logged on into the system and are ready to be tested. We have got loads of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) that we need to follow. Every test done on a sample is recorded on the special proforma (sample no, product type, weight, result, sign, date etc.) Basically everything we do has to be recorded. There are live binders, log books, etc.. everything is by law. If you are not sure of something, please ask .
