Project description:
The goal of this assignment is to apply critical reasoning skills and practice the fundamental approach for developing arguments provided in Chapter 1 of the textbook, Bioethics: Principles, Issues, and Cases, by Lewis Vaughn. Your position paper should utilize Vaughn’s textbook, the documentary, The Suicide Tourist, on reserve in the Halle Library, and any other materials you would like to incorporate in order to strengthen your position FOR the complex bioethical issue, physician-assisted suicide (PAS). In considering both moral and nonmoral perspectives and premises, keep in mind the direct link between America’s health care system (e.g., what it has been vs. what it is now with the Affordable Care Act in place) and PAS.
The length of each paper must be 4-5 pages. This page length DOES NOT INCLUDE REFERENCES, which are required to be in a consistent format.
