Father's Role Research 

· Traditionally when a pregnancy has failed or when a baby is born with a deformity the blame quite often is placed on the mother. For this assignment you should search the internet for information regarding the responsibility that a father and his actions and health has on his sperm and how this can affect the baby.

· Find at least one site and list the web address as well as write at least 3 paragraphs describing what you found.

· Describe Teratogens. Do a web search for teratogens and give an example of a teratogen not listed in your text. Were there any listed that surprised you? Why or why not? (Accutane, Tetracycline & Streptomycin, Excedrin Extra Strength, thalidomide, rubella, syphilis, HIV/AIDS, lead, mercury, radiation, alcohol, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, tobacco, lack of folic acid, excess caffeine, raw or under cooked meat, fish, and eggs are already listed in the text book.)
