Patella Reflex Test
a. Find the patella tendon (This should be done by a second person). Watch this video to help find the patella tendon
b. You (student taking this class) should be sited calmly on a chair with the Femur making a 90 degree angle with the Tibia.
c. At this point the individual assisting with this lab should proceed to strike your patella tendon quickly and firmly.
d. The assisting partner should do at least 5 repetition strikes to test for the patella reflex
e. Record the respond of your knee to the test in d.
f. Click and watch the video as a reference video of what a patella test looks like
3. Next you and your assistant will test for the Babinski sign
