On Star Technology

A 30 year old woman was stopped at a red light in her 2011 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with her young child in the backseat. At approximately 9 A.M. the 30 year old woman was carjacked while her 3 year old daughter was in the backseat. As the 30 year old woman was pulled from the mini-van by the suspect, she pressed the On-Star button and activated the vehicles On-Star service. Police officers were able to listen to the conversations in the Chrysler Town and Country mini-van as well as track the location of the vehicle until the suspect was apprehended.

What legal/constitutional implications can arise by using this technology to assist law enforcement? Do you agree with the actions of the officers (listening to the conversation of the suspect with On-Star technology)? Why or why not?

It is important to demonstrate mastery of course material in your post. Do not just summarize the articles and material.
