Topic: Older adult that failed to comply with prescribed hemodialysis treatment regimen(NON COMPLIANCE WITH HEMODIALYSIS IN OLDER ADULT)
DETAILS:
Consider the population in which the solution is intended, the staff that will participate, and the key contributors that must provide approval and/or support for your project to be implemented. These stakeholders are considered your audience.
Develop an implementation plan (1,500-2,000 words) using the “Topic 3: Checklist” resource. The elements that should be included in your plan are listed below:
1. Method of obtaining necessary approval(s) and securing support from your organization’s leadership and fellow staff.
2. Description of current problem, issue, or deficit requiring a change. Hint: If you are proposing a change in current policy, process, or procedure(s) when delivering patient care, describe first the current policy, process, or procedure as a baseline for comparison.
3. Detailed explanation of proposed solution (new policy, process, procedure, or education to address the problem/deficit).
4. Rationale for selecting proposed solution.
5. Evidence from your Review of Literature in Topic 2 to support your proposed solution and reason for change.
6. Description of implementation logistics (When and how will the change be integrated into the current organizational structure, culture, and workflow? Who will be responsible for initiating the change, educating staff, and overseeing the implementation process?)
7. Resources required for implementation: staff; educational materials (pamphlets, handouts, posters, and PowerPoint presentations); assessment tools (questionnaires, surveys, pre- and post-tests to assess knowledge of participants at baseline and after intervention); technology (technology or software needs); funds (cost of educating staff, printing or producing educational materials, gathering and analyzing data before, during, and following implementation), and staff to initiate, oversee, and evaluate change.

INSTRUCTOR’S INSTRUCTIONS.
What will be your method to obtain approval? Will you just roll your implementation out as a surprise to everyone?? I hope not (although that could be fun), put some thought into who you need in your corner to support this change and then think about what method is going to win them over and then tell me about it in your professional paper.
Talk about the current problem-I want details so if you are proposing to change a policy then talk to me about this, or if you are going to change a process or procedure in delivering patient care then describe that too-describe the present situation as a baseline for comparison.
Give a detailed explanation of the proposed solution (so yes basically you are going to give me details about the old thing that is a problem and a detailed explanation about what this new thing is that you are proposing to change-policy, procedure etc.)
Your rationale for changing it (and no you can’t tell me because it’s a required assignment ;))
Give me evidence from the amazing hours of research search that you have done-talk to me about how your research backs up your proposed solution-this is where you will use those statistics if you have found them-you should utilize at least 3-5 of your research articles within this part of your paper. Your stakeholders are not going to support your solution based off of 1-2 research articles.
Give me a detailed plan of your implementation logistics (when and how the change will be integrated into your organization’s structure and work flow, who is going to be responsible for initiating this change, educating staff and overseeing the implementation process). Remember to look to your syllabus and course materials as it is all there for you.
What resources are you going to need for this implementation-tell me about all of them; power points, handouts, staff lunch, snacks, questionnaires, surveys, pre and post tests, what technology will you need, and of course the cost to educate your staff or patients (printing cost, gathering data before, during and following the implementation)
All of this nicely summed up in 1500-2000 words.
