Essay style. Use prose. Divide your essay into paragraphs. Structure it with an introduction, body (divided into the mai
parts), conclusion

and a reference list (A-Z) at the end. Do not have to lot of sub-sections or discussion based on

the ‘point form’ method. Make sure

your essay flows. The introduction should tell the readerwhat you are going to

write about; the conclusion should only summaries your

argument and findings.

Your essay should be very specific. Nothing should be included that does not contribute directly to

answering the

question/instruction.

Read the question carefully before starting your research. Ensure that your essay is well proof-read, that

the

argument flows well and logically, and that you have specifically answered the question throughout. Do not include
extraneous material;

keep to the spirit ofthe essay question.

Specifically answering the question’ means that you are keeping focus on the relevant subject

matter all the

way through the essay. An essay that tends to NOT answerthe question would explain economic theory in the
abstract (with no

link back to the question/instruction), ortalk about some issue ofirrelevance.

Your essay must be: single-spaced, paragraphs indented,

text justified, &font size 11 in Verdana, 3cm

margins on the Left & Right.
