Throughout our presentation processes, I have become aware of useful strategies to deal with issues and to gain commitment
to the goals of the presentation. Nevertheless, doing our presentation as a group has been a great experience worth having.
It gives me the opportunity to interact and learn from my group members. In addition, it enable me to discover more of my
hidden talents, and enable me to master new ones. Nonetheless, the major benefit of doing this presentation in a team for
me was that it facilitates learning and enhances my understanding of the presentation. I have definitely learned more about
our topic from other students than I would have if I had completed this presentation on my own. We discussed each part of
the presentation in depth and that in turn helped me in understanding my part very well. Nevertheless, my team had regular
weekly meetings in the library and went through each part together to make sure we all had the same understanding. The team
spirit was a very positive element contributing to make our meeting very pleasant. This helps me in building collaboration
and in improving the outcomes. My team members and I felt free to share our ideas and knowledge with each other, and that
definitely made my learning process more interactive, interesting and enjoyable. Nevertheless, the most challenging for me
was speaking in front of the audience in English language. As I am an international student and English is not my native
language, giving true and emotional presentation was difficult for me. Caring for grammars and thinking about heavy English
accent made my voice trembling. However, at the end of my presentation, I noticed that my group looked at me positively.
Since that, I recognized that in spite of my nervousness and the moderately bad English, the way that I delivered my part
was satisfactory. Consequently, I realized that there was no need for my nervousness and trembling. However, this event had
helped me in revealing my complexes and overcoming my shortcomings.
