Locate two research articles using ethnic or cultural minorities as participants. One article should be a quantitative study, involving the use of intelligence or personality tests. The other article should include any study of an ethnic or cultural minority, which uses a qualitative approach.

Write a paper in which you evaluate this research regarding how well it meets criteria for multicultural sensitivity. Be sure to note the following in your paper:

1.) For the qualitative research study, on the basis of Ponterotto’s article, tell whether using a qualitative approach did or did not facilitate the gathering of data that might not have been found using a quantitative approach.

2.) For the quantitative study, tell whether you think the tests met what Mio (2011) called the four criteria of equivalence. Also, note whether you think the research questions could have been better answered, regarding this particular group, using a qualitative approach.
