Short Album Review:

For this assignment you will review a single hip-hop album that you believe to be important in relation to women in hip-hop. The goal here is to write a descriptive review, rather than an evaluative one (i.e. you should explain what’s happening on the album rather than focusing on whether you like it or not).

In this brief (3-5 paragraphs) review please describe both the aesthetic characters of the album (production, lyrics, etc) as well as a contextual understanding of why this album is significant to the role of women in hip-hop
