Objective: To learn about and gain an understanding of the career options available with a Business/Marketing degree.

Required: Review Appendix C in the Course Textbook. Write a 3-5 page paper (double spaced with correct spelling and grammar) discussing various career options in Marketing that appeal to you and why.

Your paper should include:

1) A summary of the positions available in Marketing that appeal to you.

2) An analysis of your strengths and weaknesses that led you to above.

3) Marketing positions that you can envision yourself enjoying and excelling in. Also discuss how your possible career choice(s) would help others that you would work with, associate with, come in contact with on a daily basis in the future. (We’re all in this together. Let’s remember to help others along the way in our life).

4) Where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years, and 25 years? (No answer is wrong here. If you don’t see yourself in Marketing tell me what you envision for yourself and why).

Rationale: To think about your future. To think about what you need to do now and during your time at Loyola to attain your desired job/career goal(s). To research positions that may appeal to you for your life’s work. To examine what you need to do to help create a better future for yourself and your family.
