Topic: Evaluation of critical areas of an information system
Choose an organisation with which you are familiar or choose an organisation discussed in the module notes or lecture materials and do as following:

2. Give a critical account of supply chain and customer relationship management systems. (35%)

This assignment is designed to test your critical understanding and analytical skills in applying and critically evaluating information management techniques.
You are required to demonstrate a critical appreciation of a range of information management strategies and concepts by preparing a business-style report intended for the organisation you have chosen.
Your report should include an Executive Summary, Introduction, main body, presenting sub-sections and a Conclusions section. Your report should not exceed the limit of 3500 words (+/- 10%) excluding appendices and references. It should be formatted on A4 paper and include a cover page and a table of contents. Use 12pt font size Times New Roman, with 2.5cm margins all around and double- spacing. References, Table of Contents, and tables/figures/graphs may be single-spaced with a font size 10.
Your assignment should demonstrate the following qualities:
1. Answering the central focus of the assignment requirements.
2. A critical appreciation of relevant literature and its use to support arguments, substantiate risk and valuation measurements and other aspects of the assignment.
3. Taking ownership of the content, being prepared to debate and argue a personal position, providing evidence of evaluative skills. A submission made up of extracts from published sources which is descriptive or simply just theoretical regurgitation is not acceptable. Your submission must have interpretation and consideration of the challenges and issues of taking theory into practice.
4. Ability to analyse relevant theoretical concepts in a critical manner, evaluation of material.
5. Logical flow of ideas and treatment; imaginative approaches; appropriate selection of real world factors related to the companies under scrutiny.
6. Evidence of personal research, and the ability to analyse material from a variety of appropriate relevant perspectives.
7. Presentation, structure, appropriateness of methodology, sub- dividing your report into section headings/subheadings, tidiness.
