Let’s Call it Ethics John Marsh’s article, Neither Necessary nor Sufficient: Community Education and the Fight Against Poverty, focuses upon an ethical issue that is discussed by many academics and policymakers: education and poverty. However, this article raises others that are a significant part of a larger societal discussion. Review the PowerPoint Presentation: How to Identify and Write about Ethical Dilemmas (See the attached) and then review Marsh’s article (see the attached) and compose a post in which you: • Identify one ethical issue aside from poverty and education that Marsh highlights in the article. You do not need to take a stance pertaining to this issue; you need only identify the ethical issue and share it with your peers in a sentence or two. • Explain how this meets the test for an ethical issue by referring to one or more of the readings or resources in this module (e.g. Funk and Wagnall, Kant, etc.) in a few sentences. • Conduct research on the issue in the Your research Library and write a 275-300 word persuasive post referencing one or more academic sources analyzing why this issue is worthy of discussion. Please remember that in order to persuade your reader, you must apply critical thinking and use authoritative, credible academic sources to support your points. Be sure to reference sources using APA style.
