Identify and analyze seven different characteristics of effective leaders and provide real world examples of entrepreneurial leaders who embody or exhibit each of these characteristics.
Clearly identify and analyze each characteristic, explain how it’s relevant to leadership effectiveness in entrepreneurial settings.
Identify entrepreneurial leaders who display one or more of these leadership characteristics and provide a real example of how each characteristic benefits their ventures.
You may use the same leader for up to three characteristics.
Identify and analyze the lessons you can draw from these examples to apply in your own professional and leadership development.
Submission Requirements
For this assignment, you will develop a critical analysis, including the following:
Introduction or Executive Summary (Abstract).
Brief summary of key issues or points covered in the analysis (one paragraph, 5–7 sentences).
Present each issue or topic.
Research the specific issue or topic in reputable publications.
Summarize what academic sources say (or don’t say) about specific issue or topic.
Critically Analyze each issue or topic (Thesis).
Conduct a critical analysis of each issue or topic and present your arguments or viewpoints that are relevant in evaluating each issue or topic.
Your analysis and defense will likely involve a number of sub-arguments that support your main argument/viewpoint of each issue or topic.
Draw a conclusion (if possible) to extrapolate the important concepts drawn from your critical analysis.
Conclusion.
Summarize two key take-away points or important concepts from this process.
Explain how each point or concept is relevant to your professional or personal situation.
Formatting Guidelines
References: Support your analysis with at least three academic resources from the Capella University Library. You must use proper APA (6th edition) style to list your references.
Length: The body of the analysis must be 4–5 full pages, not including the references list, appendices, or the title page.
Written communication: Develop accurate written communication and thoughts that convey the overall goals of the project. Your analysis should demonstrate graduate-level writing skills and should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.
Formatting: Use APA (6th edition) formatting, including: correct in-text citations, proper punctuation, double-spacing throughout, proper headings and subheadings, no extra line spaces before headings and subheadings, proper paragraph and block indentation, no bolding, one-inch margins all around, and no bullets. Refer to the APA Style and Formatting module, linked in Resources, for more information.
