    1. An Australian wine manufacturer (or brewing company) is thinking of partnering or selling overseas. What would they need to do? (Focus on one country only)(Shanghai).

    Export Plan
    You are required to develop a detailed export plan for a hypothetical Australian business. Scenarios for these businesses will be available in week 2. You can choose one of the scenarios as the basis for your plan, or, in consultation with and the approval of your lecturer, study another business. The plan should address:
    International environmental factors
    International market research
    Selection and entry to the chosen market/s
    Strategies for product, place, promotion and price in the selected market/s.

    The plan should be professionally presented as a report, not exceeding 30 text pages in length. Additionally, appendices should be included with research data or other material that supports the content of the plan proper.(using tables and graphs) (using text reference)

    Discussion of international environment factors The plan should identify those factors that will impact on the selection of the market/s and evaluate the firm’s strengths and weaknesses in dealing with the environment.
    International market research Detailed data is needed to assist the planning process, and to allow for selection of the most appropriate markets. This research should include quantitative data on market sizes, and qualitative data on environmental factors such as culture.
    Market selection and entry Carry out an analysis that will allow you to select the best market/s and advise on the most suitable mode of entry.
    Develop marketing mix strategies Identify and explain how the domestic marketing mix will be changed in response to different consumer needs in the chosen markets.
