1.      ERP is made up of modules, a database, and a set of inherent processes.  Its main purpose is to combine, to work together.

2.      The name of the ERP software application I researched is Apache OFBiz (Open for Business).  Apache OFBiz is an open source product for the automation of enterprise processes.  http://ofbiz.apache.org/index.html

3.      Apache OFBiz is a community driven open source project.  It includes framework components and business applications for ERP. With Apache OFBiz you can customize it as a framework to implement most business needs.  There is no need to wait. You can start using Apache OFBiz right away.  You can extend your businesses quality of being as your it grows.  Advance e-commerce, Catalog management, and Customer Management make up some of the functionality for Apache OFBiz.
