1. The objective of the research project is to introduce the student team to reference databases, periodicals, professional
journals, newspapers and other resources, which will be used to establish a position on the selected topic, which can then
be supported with reference materials from the literature.
2. No more that 30% of your research sources may come directly from the Internet. In other words, if you use a “www” format
to properly cite your source (e.g. https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/01/24/usability-and-interface-design-books/), then
it Springs within this definition. If the document your team locates is a digital copy of an exact paper product and you can
cite the digital product just as you would by looking at the paper product itself, then I will accept this alternative as a
non-Internet source.
3. All project reports shall comply with formatting and citation requirements of the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association (APA) Sixth Edition. Proper APA Format (6th Edition – Second Printing– October 2009 or later)
