Health care administration and justice

There are 8 chapters you have become acquainted with since the term began. Chapters 1 through 4 looked at some ethical principles which will confront you as a Health Care Administrator (HCA). Chapters 5 through 8 looked at some of the external influences upon your role as HCA that will raise ethical concerns and place you in a position to make ethical decisions. Chapters 2 through 8 provided cases for each chapter to highlight the particular ethical concern.
You are to choose 4 chapters( 2 from chapters 2 through 4 and 2 from chapters 5 through 8). Presumably you will choose 4 chapters that most stimulate your thinking on the ethical issues presented in those chapters.
Please submit your completed exam as a double-spaced, typed Word Document, and cite APA style when sources are used. Each question calls for a 1-2 page answer so your exam in total should be 4-8 pages long.
    1) Summarize in your own words the main points Morrison is making in terms of the ethical issue in 4 chapters (25 points) (1-2 pages). The grade for this section will reflect how well your summary captures the significant points Morrison makes.
    2) Present one case for each of the chapters you choose to discuss that differs from those in the text and that highlights the ethical issues in the particular chapters you have chosen. You may gather the case from newspapers or journal articles or other texts that deal with a situation with which the HCA is or might be confronted. Looking at the references in the back of Morrison’s text might provide some suggestions for where to look for cases. Reference the source from which the case was taken (25 points) (1-2 pages). The grade for this section will reflect how well the case captures the ethical issues of the chapter.
    3) Analyze each of the four cases you present in terms of the ethical issues they raise for the HCA in the light of the chapter chosen (25 points) (1-2 pages). The grade for this section will reflect the comprehensiveness of your analysis.
    4) Discuss various decisions you as the HCA in this situation might make in resolving the issues raised in each of the four cases you presented (25 points) (1-2 pages). The grade in this section will reflect how well the reasons provided for your decision support your decision.
