Read the case on Blackboard (found under the “Cases” button) and answer the following questions in a 2 – 3 page Word document (single spaced, normal 1 inch margins!) Submit this file, either electronic or in hardcopy, by the start of class on the due date.
1. What was done right in this project by the project manager and project team? List the items and explain.
2. In retrospect, what was done wrong? What could have been done better? Explain why.
3. Identify the possible risks that could jeopardize the success of the project.
4. Do you think that the new system will position the company for growth? Do you think revenues will increase because of the implementation of the new system? Why or why not?
5. What would have been the results if the project was implemented and failed? Or failed before implementation? Discuss fully.
