This outline will serve as a starting point for the discussion you will moderate. For example:
Issue – globalization has been a net gain for the environment in the area of protecting endangered species.
Summary – since 1989, the populations of endangered species have recovered three-fold.
Mechanism – the international mechanism responsible for this success is the implementation of CITES, which is the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
Implementation- CITES works by subjecting international trade in specimens of listed species to certain controls. These require that all import, export, re-export and introduction from the sea of species covered by the Convention has to be authorized through a permitting system.
